Our Annual Canal Walk Starts In March
Last year, we updated our tradition of walking the entire length of the Delaware Canal Towpath and have created a group of walks based on the seasons. Now walkers can enjoy the towpath and the canal throughout the year. Our first group of spring walks will begin in March in Bristol, PA.

Registration for this walk is closed – Saturday, March 14 – Bristol Riverfront Park, Bristol to Falls Township Park (Wheatsheaf Road), Levittown – 6.2 miles
-Saturday, March 28 (This walk begins at 8:30 AM)– Falls Township Park, Levittown to Black Rock Road, Yardley – 6.1 Miles
-Sunday, April 26– Black Rock Road, Yardley to Washington Crossing Park South (Route 532) – 5.6 miles
-Saturday, May 2 – Washington Crossing Park South to to Thompson Neely Farmstead, Washington Crossing – 4.4 miles
-Saturday May 9 – Canal Park, Solebury to Bulls Island, Stockton, NJ – 5.8 miles
The Walks begin at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted. You are invited to walk on any or all of the dates.
We suggest you bring water and a snack, dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Transportation back to the starting point will be accomplished by carpooling.
If you wish to park at the end point in the morning, please let us know and arrive by 8:15. We will provide carpooling to the starting point. A $10 donation for the walk is gratefully accepted. Bring a friend!
