Last year, we updated our tradition of walking the entire length of the Delaware Canal Towpath and have created a group of walks based on the seasons. Now walkers can enjoy the towpath and the canal throughout the year.

Saturday, May 30th (rescheduled from May 2nd)

– Washington Crossing Park South to Thompson Neely Farmstead, Washington Crossing – 4.4 miles

Saturday June  20th (rescheduled from May 9th)

– Canal Park, Solebury to Bulls Island, Stockton, NJ – 5.8 miles

Saturday June 27th

– Lock 12 in Lumberville to Bridge 2 in historic Smithtown area – 3 miles

The Walks begin at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted. You are invited to walk on any or all of the dates.

We suggest you bring water and a snack, dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Transportation back to the starting point will be accomplished by carpooling.

If you wish to park at the end point in the morning, please let us know and arrive by 8:15. We will provide carpooling to the starting point. A $10 donation for the walk is gratefully accepted. Bring a friend!
