Temporary Towpath Closure in Lumberville

**TEMPORARY TOWPATH CLOSURE** There will be a temporary towpath closure on 4/24/2025 south of the Black Bass Hotel between MM. 30.7 and MM 31 in Lumberville. Closure is necessary to enable contractors to safely remove a hazardous tree from the berm side of the Canal. The closure is anticipated to last for one day and has been put in place to ensure public safety. Trail users should turn around at the closure and NOT attempt to get by.
