Lunch at Walk at the Narrows
Wednesday, November 4 – 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Join us for a sightseeing stroll and enjoy lunch too!

Michael Ginder, Executive Director of the Friends, will lead this scenic walk highlighting the area’s unique history, canal features, and wildlife.
On this 2.6-mile round-trip walk, we will pass by the Nockamixon Cliffs and Lynn Island, which is home to a nesting pair of Bald Eagles. Bring your binoculars to get a closer look at these magnificent creatures.
We will learn about locks, waste gates, and aqueducts and their role in managing the water flow in the canal.
Upon our return to The Narrows Restaurant, we will enjoy the comfort of their Canal Room while dining on a luncheon buffet menu of salads, soup, and gourmet sandwiches.
The cost is $55.00 per member, $65.00 per non-member, and reservations are required. Registration is limited to 35 people. If you have any questions, please email us at friends@fodc.org.
